A BIG birthday surprise!!!

Patrick was finally able to get his brithday surprise on saturday with some friends of ours. The weather turned out perfect for this. Erica and I decided to surprise our husbands for their birthdays since they are only 3 days apart and the same age.

{We were supposed to do this last weekend but Jamey was sick and we were stranded in Cheyenne because I-25 being closed due to a winter storm}.

Here they are getting ready to ride. There is always Competition among the men. Jamey said Patrick will want to do it again because he was going to lose. Wonder who WON?!?

Patirck is 09 and Jamey is 03. For $5 more they got 3 extra horsepower and a better car. Would that even be an option?? Would they have wanted to ride the slower Karts?? Um...Let me think....NO!!!

Going onto the track. There were little kids with their own karts out there with the big men practicing for a race. Our men got smoked!!!

Erica and I were talking about the competiveness and just knew that the men would have some kind of story of how or why whoever won. Whether it was the car or driver. Yes, there was a story. Jamey said he let Patrick win. And get this, Patrick agreed with him. What is that all about???

The 2 Birthdays boys after all the fun. We then went to Hibatchis for a late lunch. The company and food was awesome. Thanks Jamey and Erica for a fun day.
