Family Photos

We had pictures taken in November. I love how they turned out. These are the ones I chose. I love this one of the girls. Gracyn looks like she could have been from the 1800's in this picture...I love it!!!

I thought we needed a picture of just us so this was our crack at it. It seemed alot like engagement pics but it was fun to do. I was just about to start laughing big time right when this picture was taken. This man still makes me laugh. Oh how I LOVE him!!!

I know I am biased BUT....Patrick and I made some cute little girls. Who would have thought we are already thinking about a #3. Only time will tell.

Zoiee

In a earlier post, I mentioned a microphone that Zoiee got as a present, Now you can find her down at the local hot chocolate shop (that looks a lot like my living room) entertaining the locals.

Winter Wonderland!!!

We went to the Winter Wonderland at Zoiees school after our lovely visit with Santa. They got to fish, throw, eat and guess to win prizes. The girls and a lot of fun... Gracyn has wanted to do everything the big girls do so of course she was right in the middle of things.

Zoiee, Gracy and Daddy did the cakewalk. Zoiee won a cake and she picked an 8" Dairy Queen ice cream cake. It is Delicious!!!

Gracyn VS. Santa

Santa came to the Library this last Saturday. I thought the girls would like to visit with him. I knew Zoiee would have some reservations about the visit but I was even more certain that Gracy wouldn't have a problem. BOY was I wrong!!!!!

She wouldn't go near him. Wouldn't even look at him. So I have yet to get a picture of either girl with Santa.

Zoiee

Zoiee is GROWING up on us. I noticed the other week that all her shirts are toooo short so I ventured out to find some bigger shirts. We went to the Childrens Place Outlet and really lucked out. For $13 I got about 7 items. She was so excited to wear her new denim skirt, new vest and new black boots (which were a christmas present from Grandpa and Mimi) she got early since I knew she would have at least one more thing to open on Christmas day from them. With all this excitement in her, she got together her new little outfit and had to take pictures of it. She wanted me to get them printed so she could show all her friends but after a litte while of me trying to convince that her friends seeing her in the outfit was just as good, she relented. She did a rather good job. Anyone want fashion pointers??? Zoiee might be able to give you some of her time.

She was very cute in this little outfit. She has asked to wear the skirt several times but I keep "forgetting" to wash it. She does need to wear her other clothes first I think!!!

Thanksgiving!!!

I feel like I am crazy late with this post but better late than never. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year. I hosted my dad and Mimi, and my sis Steph and the kids. It was great. We visited, shopped on black friday, watched some newly released movies, the kids went swimming with grandpa and Mimi and we ATE... Here the kids are posing for one of many pictures. I didn't take as many pictures as I wanted to but I did get some.

Just a sample of some of the food we had on Turkey Day. I was very thankful for all the hands I had helping me in the kitchen that day. Even though I didn't do it all, I now know why my mom was so tired by the end of the day.

My Dad, Mimi and the girls the day they left. Gracyn was tired of taking pictures. Can't you tell???
Gracyn sure warmed up to my dad this visit. She sure loves her Grandpa Randy. They were a cute pair those 4+ days. Gracyn was so sad on saturday when we were saying our goodbyes. She wanted Grandpa to hold her and didn't want to get out of his arms when they had to leave. She was even crying. It was so cute and sad all at the same time.
We don't have many pictures of Dad and the girls. So here is one of several that we took.

There are many things to be Thankful for this year. I am very Thankful that I got to spend this holiday with Family. It was fun to have Dad and Mimi here and I hope we get to do it more often in the future.

A NEW friend!!!

After seeing the new "Twilight Saga: New Moon" on Friday night, my mom and her friend Sue stayed over. Zoiee made a fast friend. Sue brought gifts for the girls and read books in the morning. Zoiee got a wireless microphone that works through the tuner. She sang for us Saturday morning and hasn't stopped singing with it since.

Our little Gracyn finally says something....ah-oh!!!! My heart still yearns to hear Mama come out of her mouth but I will take this word. She was diagnosed with expressive language delay so she should start speech therapy soon. Hopefully this time next year she will be able to say mama. The picture above is how you will usually find her throughout the day but usually in regular clothes. She loves to wear others shoes, even my heels. Anyone who knows me know I don't like shoes in the house so Zoiee has learned real quick to wipe them off before her sister wears them. It's one of my crazy quirks but I am loved anyway!!!

Halloween Events!!!

The Weekend started out with a bang. My sister and her 2 kids came down for the weekend. I think this will be the tradition now because the weather is always nicer here. We went to our ward "Trunk or Treat" on friday night. Patrick dressed as a basketball player doning a rock star wig I won at Bunko last month, I dressed up as Coach Sue from Glee without the attitude. Saturday, Patrick and I were able to have a date. When we got home, he spent some time with the kids in the back yard building snowmen from our left over snow from this past week. It turned out to be quite warm that day.

Olivia & Seth digging in the snow.

Gracyn had to play too!!

Zoiee rolling the bottom ball for her snowman.

Seth, Olivia and Gracyn. Gracyn always likes to HELP!!!!
I was supposed to make cheerleader costumes for the girls. I even bought a simplicity pattern. But when I opened it, I realized "I HAVE no idea what I am doing!!!" So I am going to get sewing lessons for christmas and make the costumes. I will be ahead for next year though. So. that is a plus!!

Zoiee in her cat costume...Zoiee loved the make up Auntie put on her. The lipstick wouldn't come off so she has red lips for church the next day.

Gracyn as a very "cheap" cheerleader

Olivia as a princess. She loved the sparkly make up she got to wear.

He sure can ROCK that look!!!!

This is the only picture I could get of Seth as a ninja.

After church on Sunday I make candied apples. They were YUMMY!!!!

Sisters!!!!

Zoiee came home from school "sick" today. And Gracy just can't seem to stay away.

Notice how she even pulls the blankets over her legs. She makes herself comfortable wherever she is.

A BIG birthday surprise!!!

Patrick was finally able to get his brithday surprise on saturday with some friends of ours. The weather turned out perfect for this. Erica and I decided to surprise our husbands for their birthdays since they are only 3 days apart and the same age.
{We were supposed to do this last weekend but Jamey was sick and we were stranded in Cheyenne because I-25 being closed due to a winter storm}.

Here they are getting ready to ride. There is always Competition among the men. Jamey said Patrick will want to do it again because he was going to lose. Wonder who WON?!?

Ready to go out.

The sexy outfit!

Patirck is 09 and Jamey is 03. For $5 more they got 3 extra horsepower and a better car. Would that even be an option?? Would they have wanted to ride the slower Karts?? Um...Let me think....NO!!!

Going onto the track. There were little kids with their own karts out there with the big men practicing for a race. Our men got smoked!!!

In this picture Jamey is winning with Patrick close behind him. But the WINNER is...

Patrick!!!!
Erica and I were talking about the competiveness and just knew that the men would have some kind of story of how or why whoever won. Whether it was the car or driver. Yes, there was a story. Jamey said he let Patrick win. And get this, Patrick agreed with him. What is that all about???

All done!!! "That was great!!!"

The 2 Birthdays boys after all the fun. We then went to Hibatchis for a late lunch. The company and food was awesome. Thanks Jamey and Erica for a fun day.

FIeld Trip!!!

A post all about ZOIEE!!!
Zoiee has a rough time every day that she has school. She only goes 2 1/2 days a week { 2 whole days and 1 half day}. Those mornings start out with crying from the time she wakes up until the time I leave her in her classroom. Some mornings she says her stomach hurts, some she asks if she can just stay home because she can't do it, and recently she has started getting herself so worked up that she gags and throws up. She doesn't eat breakfast, so there isn't anything in her tummy to come up so it pretty much is slimy saliva. Gross!! anyway you look at it. Now, this isn't what I would call our best time of the day. We are working with the teacher on a reward system daily. I hope that this ends before we have to start college. Hey!! I'm not being negative just hopeful.
We also had her parent teacher conference last week. Once she is engaged in school, she does very well. She is very kind, helpful and very much anticipating learning how to read. She is a very bright student, we just have to get her anxiety under control.
So today I went on Zoiee's first Kindergarten field trip with her. We had one buddy with us and went on our way.

Zoiee and our buddy Hannah

Several of Mrs. Doyle's students.

One weird looking bird. What would it be like to have something attached to your face like that???

I was the nice chaperone and let the girls ride the carousel before we left. The school didn't say anything about bribery. So why not???
